I am an artist living, working and teaching painting at the MFA level in downtown NYC. My current series of paintings - Idols: Demons and Saints - uses images from internet "Idol" sites, subtitles from samurai films, references to old master paintings, and religious/pop fetishistic icons. These paintings continue to explore my fascination with devotion, idolatry and the use of objectified imagery in art and life.
