I've found over the years what I love is being able to capture a story within the moment, plus having a love for what's termed genre art and history painting, the trend I see in most of what I shoot is a hybrid photojournalistic/genre style which best represents what I strive for, and learn a little more every time I'm working with a great group of people, from the models and actors to stylists, fashion/costume designers, and production designers.
Some of these moments have intentional flaws. One (maybe two) were accidential, but I still love the image, or the story within the image which is why it's here, reflecting the kind of work I want to do and improve on.
Trade Time/TFCD Work
For Designers, Models, Stylists (even budding magazine editors!). I love working with teams, as my degree is in Film/Television development, production and writing. Please come prepared with an outline of what you are looking for/want so I can develop and tailor the concept/theme/composition. This runs the gambit, from Fashion/Glamour to Portrait/Bridal, behind the scenes, photojournalist-- I'm open to everything.
****If we are doing a studio shoot, I have to rent (usually at $50-60/hr). I don't mind doing studio shoots, but understand if you need to reschedule/cancel, it is imperative you give at least a 24 hour notice
The Gallery Series
I have an ongoing side project which is the development/design of concepts I intend for fine art/large-size gallery pieces. These compositions are team projects (and I'm constantly on the look-out for models, designers and stylists), usually have a budget, and are shot on location.
I'm always looking for both established and new designers, stylists, and models. Almost all of my work is based on TF (with the exception of "Victim", as it was my own project, so I handed out paychecks-
) If you like what you see and want to stay in touch for future projects, PM me with your name, website link, and rates/fees, and whether you're open to TF/Trade.
They are always welcomed and encouraged, as we want you to be as comfortable as possible (especially if we've never worked together before, it's mandatory).
I require all parties to sign a standard industry release (especially if it's one of my projects).
