I am an artist.

Music, sketching & questioning the world around me were my first influences. I grew up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic & I moved to NY when I was 15.

I went to Bayside High School where I swapped lunch breaks for art classes and went home to play drums in a band. Later I graduted from Farmingdale State University where I drew naked people, painted abstract shapes and did graphic design for long hours. During that time I worked as a photographer’s assistant, an intern at a stationary company, a salesman, a Lifetouch employee, an art adviser, a family therapist, a deli clerk, a baby sitter, a contractor & a garabage man

One day I realized that being an artist takes more than 9-5, it takes my conscious and unconscious hours; to understand the notion of emotion. Design helps me describe everything I’m interested in, which generally is everything. So for the past 8 years I’ve been busy designing logos, brochures, packaging, posters, cd covers, tree houses, chocoloate bars, air fresheners, toothpaste, ad campaigns, dandruff shampoo, kitchens, websites and hand drawn characthers. I can walk to my job.
