I am a freelance makeup artist located in the heart of Manhattan, New York. Makeup is a part of my every day life. I see it as a form of art that can be displayed on a walking canvas 100 times over. Applying makeup should never be considered a “job.” It is an outlet where you’re able to tell a story or give someone a temporary persona that they didn’t know they could have. My favorite moment is seeing my clients face after she looks in the mirror when I am through applying her makeup. Like clock work, there’s a sudden head tilt followed by a twinkle in her eye and completed with an award winning smile. That’s when I know I’ve completed my mission.
