My name is Jordan "Jordy" Young. Most people call me Jordy. I am 17 years old, and I currently live in Maryville, Tennessee. Just a small town, and I am ready to leave. I am an aspiring model. I want to become a model so badly. I feel I have what it takes, but at the same time there are things that I know I can work on. I have no experience, and I'm waiting for the right moment.
For The Record: I don't believe I need Myspace to help myself become famous. I find that a cheap excuse to get somewhere in the career field. But, it would still be cool to get contacted through there. I just find this more professional.
My main goal, is to be as successful as I can throughout my time trying to become a fashion model. Even if that means my friends have to take test-shots of me. If you can have a picture tell your story, or any other story without yourself having to speak, that is one of the most amazing jobs a person can I have.
I do realize that not everyone in the world can become a model. I understand that it is competitive, and I'm willing to deal with competition. We all have our own look, but in order to be successful, you have to know how to work your look.
You have to have confidence within yourself, and I feel that I do. Forget about all the negatives, keep your head up, and you'll only get better. That's exactly what I do with myself. I have so much passion for all this. I'm not about to let anything get in my way. Yes, there will be people who will turn me down, but I just have to keep on moving forward. Someone is bound to find me, and realize how much passion I have. I'm not giving up for anything.
This is my number one goal in my life, I plan to work my butt off to accomplish it. I will listen in on everyone’s advice. I will work hard to improve, if needed, I will work hard for an agent, or photographer, and will listen, in order to succeed. I'm going to do whatever it takes to become the successful model I want to become.
So far, I have no real experience. My pictures, or, "test-shots" as I call them have been taking by one of my friends. Not a real photographer. The main reason I have no experience with a real photographer, is because I am still in high school. I want to finish high school before getting signed with an agency. I am a junior, which means I will graduate Spring 2010.
If there's any photographers who like my look, or have tips, let me know. I would appreciate it.
Oh, and any photographer I work with, is definatley going to get major credit.
