Montreal based photographer Robin Hart Hiltz found his love of photography in music. He spent his teenage years at Halifax rock shows capturing the movement and light he saw on stage. Today he has better gear, but his goal is the same. Whether he’s shooting teased hair and high fashion, or expired polaroids at an illegal garbage dump, it’s still the moment he’s after.
His style ranges from simple use of sunlight and natural surroundings to elaborate lighting constructions and advertising as art an form.
Past clients include musicians Rebekah Higgs, the Got To Get Got, Kestrels, By Divine Right, Snailhouse, Holy Fuck, Minnow Swinwear Toronto, Cat's Meow Couture Montreal, the Canadian New Democratic Party and MAC Cosmetics. His images have graced the pages of Exclaim, the Globe and Mail, Visual Candies – a book of up-and-coming North American and European photographers, and many more.
He is available for projects across the country.
