I have been immersed in photography for over a decade with a real love for nature/'scape photos. My portraiture work came later - it's a work in progress. I am a 37 year old married mother of two amazing sons, 9 and 11. I live in West Columbia, South Carolina. I am in the process of setting up a home studio and learning lighting techniques.

---Interests---
I am interested in most types of portraiture from classic and glamour/fashion shots to sexy/boudoir and retro pin-up, and I dabble in artistic nude and implied nude (ONLY female nudes).
I would love to venture into the alternative scene such as goth/glam/punk. I would love to hear your ideas for innovative, creative and wild shoots! The crazier the better, let's take some risks!

---Information---
I enjoy working with both new models as well as more experience models, but I do not pay models to work with me, nor do I ask you to pay me. In most cases, I cannot provide gas money - if it's not worth the gas money to come see me, then you should probably look for another photographer. I expect you to be on time, or call me if you are going to be a little late. If you can't attend the shoot (for a good reason) please let me know ahead of time!
I do not reschedule shoots for flakers. I am an understanding person, but no one likes a flake! There is no need to get that reputation when a quick phone call or even an email before the shoot will keep us all informed. FYI in case you aren't sure, a flake is someone that reserves a time for a shoot and then doesn't show up and never communicates that they aren't coming.
I am available in the Columbia-Midlands area of South Carolina, though travel to other areas of South Carolina can be arranged. I sometimes find myself in Myrtle Beach or Charleston throughout the year, and Charlotte NC is only an hour and a half from me.
I am building my portfolio and in trade will help you build yours.

Projects and Ideas---
1. I need some bridal portrait shots for my portfolio. If you own or can borrow a gown, let me know! I'm open to "trash the dress" bridal portraits in fact I'd LOVE it!
2. I want to do a fashion/glamour series with the theme of the seasons along with nymphs/elves. I have an idea of what I want the hair and makeup to look like so if you're interested let me know.

Seeking a blonde or brunette who will allow us to tease her hair. Green or yellow, spring clothing style. Birds nest and bird, budding twigs, etc in the hair. Spring colored makeup. I definitely want to do the teased hair with this, very crazy messy.

Will be using a white haired wig. Ice elf theme. Snowflakes, ice, snow, ice-blue colored. White dress or ice blue dress. Frost on the face.
NOTE: just because one of the nymphs is taken doesn't mean I won't do multiples - I especially would love to do a couple winter shoots
3. I am always looking to develop my pin-up photography both on location and in the studio. I would recommend studying pin-up poses and styles before coming to a pin-up inspired shoot, as it is very difficult at times to try and help a new model learn the 'right' poses, because pin-up posing is very definitive and must be practiced.
4. NUDE shoot. Need thigh-highs and heels. Color doesn't matter as it will be shot bw. Want someone that will experiment with posing. Dancer a plus.
5. NUDE shoot (when weather warms) - outside at a place called Peachtree Falls. Couples or several models would be great. Will be an early weekday shoot, and you will have to hike a little ways to the rocks.

Thinking of a dark urban fairy, torn stockings, ratty tattered wings, combat boots...etc.
7. Gypsy inspired shoot, think classic gypsy - flowing skirt in bright colors, scarves, poet's type blouse, lots of jewelry and rings - candles, and perhaps reading tarot cards or someone's palm.
