Keep up the good work. Maybe some classes at your local community college would give you a head start, if you have the time with hw and all the other things that surely have going on. Don't let being 16 hold you back. Experience and practice is everything, shoot every day and when you can't read about art and photographers - not stupid camera magazines. One of the best ways to learn is to find photographers who's work you like a lot, then try to think of some images of your own that reproduce that style (not any specific image) and by the process of analysis you'll expose the areas that you need to practice in turning an idea in your mind into a print that delivers on that idea. The ability to translate an idea into a print is where the practice comes in. I'd also suggest putting photoshop away and focus on making a starting point that you think really stands up on its own without any effects or gimmicks. Best of luck.
