SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) actress, commercial print model, voiceover artist, director. Award-winning screenwriter.
Looking for others in the industry in my area - particularly (model) photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists and photo stylists.
I am disabled, but I am not mobility-impaired. I am working to change the stereotype that disabled people are not beautiful, sexy, or able to work in modeling, acting or whatever aspect of the industry they desire to be in. I try and focus on what I CAN do, not what I can't.
I was in a motorcycle accident right after I turned twenty. I lost part of my vision, had a stroke, cardiac arrest and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Since then I have had the right side of my face rebuilt with metal, plastic and bone cement. I'm not symmetrical, I'm not tall and thin, or young and flawless. But I'm happy, hard-working, dedicated, and professional.
I have enjoyed working both in front of and behind the camera in Florida, New York City and Hollywood/Los Angeles.
My desire now is to continue to work in the Netherlands, and to be one of the few examples of how dreams, though they may seem impossible to achieve, can be accomplished, and the greatest odds - overcome.
Although I am an American citizen, I have a permit to work in the E.U - and will consider TFP. I know the industry is very different here than what I have experienced back in the US and I want to learn all I can!
I am represented by an agency in Holland for acting and voiceover, but not for modeling. Let me know if you want their contact info.
To all the local people - if I've sent you a friend request it's because I like your work, and would like to work with you. Usually I will also leave a tag on my favorite photo on your profile. There's some really great talent on this side of the world!
Thank you to everyone who has left a tag, comment or friend request, you've all been quite lovely and kind.
