Hello! I'm a model and painter living in Little Rhody for the past 5 years. I just graduated with a BFA in studio art. I'm addicted to creating killer images and I'll do just about anything to make a compelling picture. My whole life revolves around visual art; it's my driving force. I love a good idea and creating beautiful innovative things every day.
Since I was a child I have been working from the figure, starting at age six and posing my dolls and drawing them from observation, then focusing on anime like a typical adolescent, until I finally began working from a live model when I was fifteen. For a couple years in college my focus was in figurative work, 2D and 3D - and since graduation in May 2011, my work has again focused on the figure, certainly influenced by my decision to begin modeling for fellow artists and photographers in 2008. I have a strong intuition for artistic and classical figurative modeling, expanding into other genres of modeling throughout the past three years and refining the aspects of modeling particular to photography. This background allows me to be especially sensitive and intuitive to your artistic decisions and what you need from me, as a model, to get the image you want. I can follow your directive lead, collaborate + brainstorm with you, or explore and take the lead in the shoot if you prefer to capture the moment.
I make most of my living by modeling, therefore paid assignments are a priority. I have reasonable rates and am open to almost any idea for a shoot, the only rules being no hardcore, gratuitous porn. Fetish and erotica are great - for paid work. I am not interested in doing TF* for those genres. However, I am always looking for intriguing artists who would like to work with me on collaborative fine art projects beyond typical genre figurative photography.
"Bizarre" and "weird" are my middle names and I love the way avant garde pushes the limits of the preconceived notions we have of any media. I'm very interested in working in any project that is truly alien. 'Edgy' is tame and vanilla compared to what my definition of 'bizarre' is. If you're interested in such a shoot and have the skills to pull it off, let's collab!
Logistics:
I live in Warwick, RI, a few miles away from T.F. Greene Airport. I do not drive, but I do not have an issue getting around most of the state of Rhode Island. I've been taking the bus since I moved here when I was 16 and do not have an issue getting where I need to be. Like most models, I have been developing the fine art of packing an astounding amount of clothing and heels into one or two bags. Transportation is appreciated of the location is quite far from a bus line or in a remote area.
In general, I do not use my apartment to shoot in because I have two roommates and one is usually around, sleeping or studying, and it is generally risky to let people into ones' living space to shoot - plus I have had some very bad experiences doing this. However, if we have worked together well in the past, my apartment is certainly open to shooting as long we we can work out a convenient time. We have a spare room for painting/reading/laundry which works nicely for most shoots and picks up natural light in two windows which can be available at most hours, and during the mornings to afternoon on weekdays the rest of the apartment could be available. Going out for coffee to get to know each other does not mean my apartment is open for shooting purposes - this is only for photographers who I trust and with whom I have had at least one previous professional photoshoot with!
I am also happy to shoot in Boston at T accessible places, or any city along the MBTA Providence line if you can come fetch me at the station!
Additionally, I am available to shoot in the capital district NY with a couple weeks notice. That's my hometown and my parents are always hoping I'd come home more, anyway

I know some excellent, secluded on location areas in the Ravena, Coeymans Hollow, and New Baltimore areas - but I can travel to other cities as well.
If you are a student with valid ID, I'm happy to do TF* or charge a reduced rate.
I DO NOT EVER BRING AN ESCORT TO THE SHOOT, because it impedes my creativity and I trust my photographers. That said, you will not get me to do anything I do not want to do and I always let someone know where/when I will be shooting before I leave for our shoot. Please be up front with your intentions so we do not waste each others' time. Please respect standard boundaries, such as asking before touching every time, etc - I am not a prima donna, I just ask for basic respect. This way we won't get hundreds of pictures where I look uncomfortable, and instead we can have a fun shoot with tons of strong images giving off good vibes!
