Hello...thanks for checking out my profile.
I am a NYC-based makeup/hair artist, with over a decade of experience in the industry. I worked for M.A.C. Cosmetics as an artist, in Pittsburgh, D.C., and NYC. I now work only as a freelancer, and would like to focus primarily on fashion/editorial...currently seeking agency representation.
I have been lucky to work with so many talented and passionate people.
Photographers, models, designers, stylists, and hair designers...I am so grateful to live in such a cool city!!
I have been working with models from FORD, Next, Major, Mint, WOMEN Direct, and IMG. I will only test with agency girls, unless the model/photographer/project interest me...sorry!!
My rates for paid work are very reasonable, and I am open to negotiation, so let me know about your project and budget, and I will do my best to accommodate.
I recently worked on an editorial fashion shoot for 'O' Magazine, and have worked backstage at NYC Fashion Week, on the set of music videos, television productions, film shorts, and commercial promo spots. I am comfortable on set, and proficient in working with all skin types and textures.
I can do male grooming, and CAN STYLE HAIR. I use all M.A.C. product and brushes in my kit (my kit rocks!!). I keep my kit/tools clean and organized, and work quickly, with attention to detail. I am VERY professional, friendly and no drama!!
You can reach me through Model Mayhem, or contact me via email @: jbrandon2007@mac.com.
My interests are art (in all it's forms), fashion, photography, electronic music, beauty (it's everywhere), and of course, makeup. I always strive to learn something new...when you stop learning, you stop growing...when you stop growing, you stop living.
