I studied Design Art in Montreal at Concordia University. There I exercised my general love of design (furniture, graphics, sculpture, jewellery...) which I imagine will continue to materialize in various forms my entire life. Upon graduating, my artistic career began in film. Though I started in the art department, I was drawn to costuming and made the transition after moving to Vancouver in 2004. Since then I have worked steadily in wardrobe and have worked my way up to assistant costume designer. I love helping to further express a character or a scene through the wardrobe and its styling. Whatever type of styling I am doing, I am always guided by an idea, a backstory for the actor/model. The difference with photos is that nothing is scripted, the project is fantasy and thus the canvas is completely open. My costuming work in film and TV keeps me very busy, but I would like to do more editorial as well as video work.
