Tyrone Lee Shrives

I qualified as a Fashion Designer 3 years ago from a small town in South Africa. The Town is so small we have one main road, needless to say as a fashion student my style did not always go down with the Farmers, Muscle Jocks, or even my own mom for that matter! So as soon as I qualified I packed my things and headed for the UK! Which has been an eye opening experience as to how hard the fashion industry is and how I was going to have to work my ass off to get anywhere.


I would Like to use the site to be able get in touch with models, photographers and make up artists. I have been doing a few shoots in London but would like to be doing even more.

I was lucky to have a 4month internship at GQ in South Africa where I was able to work on many shoots and was even given the responsibility to work on a few shoots by myself. It was the hardest four months of my life but also the most amazing and rewarding! I was working from 9am - midnight and would have to be at location for a 5am call out! It was when I noticed that never once did I moan that I was exhausted, needed coffee, sleep or even money (I was working for free) that I wanted to be doing this for the rest of my life!
