Welcome to Kaufman-Carthage Studios.We specialize in Fashion Editorial,Portraiture and Performing Artist imagery.Our Goal is to offer a creatively exceptional service.Our environment is comfortable,inviting and secure.We seek the interest of and creative partnership with models,photographers,m.u.a's,stylists,theatrical professionals and others.
Our studio warehouses multiple set concepts along with a range of props.Our end product is highly competitive and well within market standards.Our studios operate 7 days a week with hours adjusted for your needs.
We are conveniently located in the very heart of mid-town Manhattan,NYC on 30th street between 7th and 8th avenues.We are 3 blocks from Macy's/Herald Square and Madison Square Garden as well as the rail stations from Long Island and New Jersey.The New jersey Path trains(33rd street station)is 3 blocks away as well.There is secure parking at a major facility directly across the street from our studios.Metered parking at street level is available as well.We are a ground floor operation so no elevators or stairs hamper movement or load-in's.
Our current client list includes several celebrity personalities from fashion,film and music.We absolutely encourage the new and aspiring to take advantage of our competitive pricing,expertise and highly qualitative work product.
Our environment is suited for a range of concept work from high fashion to glamour to urban edge.
Kaufman-Carthage introductory pricing is as follows until further notice:
A. Fashion/Fashion Editorial= $250 (includes 5 looks,hair,make-up,
stylist,200 images on cd deliverable same day).
B. Head-Shots/Portraiture= $125 (includes make-up,hair,100 images
on cd deliverable same day).
C. Family Portraits= $150 (includes sitting for 5 people.$15 dollars for
each additional person.100 images on cd deliverable same day).
D. Recording/Theatrical Artist Themed Shoot= $300 (includes make-
up,hair,styling and story board concept.200 images deliverable
same day).
E. Event Shoot= $75 per hour with a 3 hour minimum.
* Exterior and location shooting is negotiable but starts at $150
* We also have access to a range of high quality furs and fur
accessories for a small rental fee.
All Model/Talent agencies are highly encouraged to arrange test shooting services with us.We are open to negotiation with all such agencies.
