Freelance Photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland. Work sold in a few shops, and also Debenhams, Glasgow.
Interested in most portrait photography, especially "urban", "gritty" or more unconventional work.
Commission work happily undertaken.
Open to most ideas presented to me. Don't be afraid to ask! but please do bear in mind what's below, because it will save both you and I time in the long run:
A couple of notes:
I don't do glamour photography at all.
I'm not interested in gothic/fantasy/horror, or anything that is "movie x-style shoot". Yes, I take inspiration from movies and cinema - but I'm interested in photographing real people - not people, pretending to be actors pretending to be film characters.
** TF Work **
Please note I now rarely accept TF shoots, unless the shoot would give me something significant for my portfolio. I have restricted the number of TF shoots I will take on this year, so please be aware of this.
If you are looking for a portfolio shoot, please visit my website at
http://www.different-light.com/ where you will find details of my shoot rates etc. I do give a discount to existing MM members.
** Scottish Creative Network **
I organise monthly Networking Events in Edinburgh and Glasgow, for both photographers, and models, and other creatives - including MUAs, stylists, etc. These are FREE events, aimed at all levels, from beginner to seasoned professional. They are held in a city centre bar, usually on a weekday evening. Open to all Model Mayhem members, as well as Purestorm and other networking sites. Please get in touch if you would like more information, or you can always find details of the next event at the Scottish Creative Network
Scottish Creative Network blog. We have a Facebook event set up for each event, and also a Facebook group. Follow the link to find out more.
