**I do not do drive by friends. The people in my friends list are photographers I admire, models I have worked with, models I want to work with or people who for one reason or another contacted me or I contacted them and we chatted for a while before we added each other as Friends. I stay in contact with my friends to a greater or lesser degree and some of them I work with regularly. If you want to work with me then contact me so we can chat for a while. Drive by requests will be denied.**

Well I have a new project underway. I recently started doing the photography work for the Northern Wisconsin ThunderHawks football team. I had forgotten what fun it is to photograph sports action. As an outgrowth of this project the team's management and I have created the T-Hawks Girls. We are looking for models interested in posing in a football themed shoot. The shoots are for tear sheets and TFP/TFCD. Models receive all of their work for their portfolioss. The photographs will be used for team calendar posters and an annual calendar.

I have been and always will be a huge fan of the classic nude figure portrait. This goes way back to my Ancient Civilizations class in college. In it we studied the Greek statue of the discuss thrower. The mathmatical perfection of this statue sparked my interest to search for the perfect human figure. Some people I admire who have worked in this genre are Edward Weston and his grandson Kim Weston.

Escorts are welcome to come to shoots we schedule. Be forewarned though, they may be put to work. I also like to establish a relationship with a model before we shoot. I feel that meeting on neutral territory is beneficial to both parties.

What are your ideas? While I have some basic ideas for shoots I want to hear your ideas too. After all, it is your portfolio. What do you want in it? Portfolio building is a collabortion between the photographer and the model. Many, many times ideas foster ideas and a shoot will go from there.

I am on MM to build my portfolio and gain experience working with models. For the time being models working with me will receive everything from our session. Over time I will rethink this policy but for now if you work with me TFCD there is no limit on the number of shots you get.
My new commercial web site is up. You can go to
www.ehphotodesign.com to view my commercial work. My old web site,
www.dwhiggins.clearwire.net, will still display my portrait photography and decorative art photography.
I am presently underway with a personal project of photographing tattoos as an art form. I am interested in the culture and the stories of why people get the tattoos they do. Male or female models wishing to contribute to the project should message me through MM.
I started working with models when I started producing stock photographs. Usually I have a specific concept in mind that I want to capture. Stock shoot concepts also come from the models I work with. Let me know if you have something in mind. This type of work is TFP up front with a royalty to the model if the photograph sells as stock.
