Tom Kochie

For years I've done primarily performance photography as production photographer for various theatre companies, as well as Robert Wilson's Watermill Center. I'm also an artist who's done a lot of sculptural pieces in the realm of Artist Dolls, that are sort or mythic, spiritual, symbolic images of the female, a vision that I'm now exploring photographically. I suppose one might say I'm looking for collaborators who have something beyond a "surface" beauty.... God knows there are a lot of beautiful people out there. I'm looking for something deeper than that to try to capture, be it a physical expressiveness, or something intangible and unique... not "cookie cutter run of the mill"! All ages, shapes and sizes!
