Hello, my name is Rachael Webster. I am 17 years young and I live in the Olympia/Tumwater area of Washington.
Throughout my life I've developed a longing to work in photography, and as I've grown up the resources and opprotunities to actually make it a career have risen and motivated me to pursue my dream in the business. At the moment, I'm not getting paid nor to I expect to get paid for my services simply because I enjoy what I do and I don't plan on getting paid until I open up a studio and truly make a business out of my work. Until then, I'm working on expanding my portfolio like most photographers here.
In two years I will be attending the Northwest College of Art and be taking multiple courses in different aspects of photography to improve my skills the best I can. After that I plan on finding a business partner who understands the industry and will help me run a successful business in a local studio. I plan on not only doing Senior portraits, family portraits, or anything else of the likes, but also doing shoots with models for creative, possibly commercial purposes. I can be a bit rebellious when it comes to listening to people, so being my own boss will especially help me with my career as a Photographer.
I have a few ideas for photoshoots that I've wanted to work on for the longest time but simply haven't had the appropriate wardrobe/model type for the shoots. Here is a list of some things I'd like to do.

•Burlesque
•Vampire couple
•Mermaid (Yes, underwater)
Other than those specifics, here is a more vague idea of what I will do.
-Regular portraits
-Family portraits
-Senior portraits
-Children's portraits
-Pets
-Blood/gore
-Nudity
-Implied nudity
So really, there's not much I won't do.
I'm a very flexible photographer to work with and I may sound picky but I'm really not. My only request is that if I do shedule a shoot with you that you are polite, respectful, and most importantly that you are open minded and share your ideas with me.
When the pictures are uploaded, I will mail a copy of every single image unedited on a cd to your address. I also photoshop images, but I will still send the original if you would like someone else to edit them for you. Any photoshop ideas you would like, please let me know.
At the moment I am limited with travelling too far, but I am willing to commute at the most about two hours from Olympia [as far North as the Seattle area and as far South as the Portland area]. I don't expect any money for the shoot or the pictures, but if you'd like to pay me then by all means go for it, haha. I very rarely have money and probably won't be able to pay you more than 20$ to model for me.

p.s. Sorry to say it but I don't have a studio of any kind. Most of my work is done outdoors, but I'm in the process of getting lighting for an indoor studio. I hope you understand that I am technically a beginner photographer and have only been serious with it for about a year, as well as I don't have any source of income to buy all my supplies. All I've got is the clothes on my back and a Nikon D60 in my hands, but I also have the passion of an artist and the will to provide my models with the best possible pictures I can give them.
