Just shooting for fun. I like natural images with light amounts of photoshop retouching. I want models to look human not like wax dummies, therefore I do tend to stick with standard retouching techniques. I am a novice photographer with an enthusiasm for the art and also shoot other subject matter including landscapes, flowers and street subjects.
All photos on portfolio were taken with Fujica STX and Soligor 35-200 zoom lens. I know it's a 30 year old camera but it's all I can afford with limited resources. I like to use traditional techniques and I am pretty much an old fashioned type of photographer. Accordingly I'm not one for lots of plain backdrops, I like something a bit more interesting than plain white paper. I have a lot of old lenses and other camera gear I want to try out so if you want to work with me get in touch. I can bang the images on a CD for you and post them out within 10 days. I wont keep you hanging around for ages as this can be very frustrating when you want to see results.
I will also work within a group so if other photographers and models want to work as a group either for fun or on a pro basis then get in touch. I am also prepared to work as an assistant to the principle photographer on a shoot for payment.
Note 1: All models, male and female, must sign a model release form and provide ID which should include a passport and other government issued ID. All models featured in my portfolio have provided a model release form and government issued ID. All models have accepted payment for their professional services. No model was coerced. Models must be over 20 years of age or older to work with me, even though the law states 18, I feel that extra time is needed for a model, either male or female, to be sure this is the industry for them. However, it should be noted that I reserve the right to use my material without limit of time. Therefore, if a model finds a new career later in life incompatible with glamour or nude photography then I suggest they make contact with a view to buying back image rights. Please bear in mind I have worked with hundreds of people over a 20 year timespan and so I'm unable to track and trace everyone I've ever worked with in the past.
Note 2: I only shoot soft erotic material of the model alone. I do not do anything that may be construed as hardcore pornography although I make no moral or ethical judgement of those who do. I am purely interested in the portrayal of the human figure in the classical sense and in the spirit of the artform.
Note 3: Although I consider myself a keen amateur I do make my images available to picture agencies who sell them to publishers for various applications, therefore please bear in mind I have little control of where images are published. I only seek to cover costs for myself and anything extra tends to go on model fees, camera film and other overheads. In general the model profits from my hobby more than I do myself. I merely seek to profit intellectually as an amateur photographer practising the craft.
Note To Models: I am now operating a new reference system. Basically after a shoot and assuming all aspects of the shoot met with your expectations, then I will ask you politely to leave a reference in my shootbook. It's basically a book which logs all my shoots, who I've worked with and how the model felt about the shoot. I have had issues with flakes over the years, not only the models themselves but boyfriends and relatives. These individuals make up incredible stories possibly with the aim of seeking compensation so the shootbook will keep a record of the shoot should any issues arise afterwards. To date I have not been subjected to any court action or prosecution after more than 20 years doing this and I only state this to reassure any model considering working with me at a time when there is a great deal of fearmongering about the industry. Furthermore, none of the models I've worked with are or have been girlfriends or boyfriends for that matter and all have accepted payment for their professional services.
Final Note: No models were harmed during filming. The models enjoy doing what they do, they are not forced into any of the poses and are fully trained in the art of modelling.
