As an artist I am very much trying to develop and refine my drawing and painting skills. I primarily work directly with models and long poses, however, in certain situations I am certainly more than happy to work from photo references. I work in a professional studio, with a lot of lighting options and do my best to provide a very safe and comfy environment. I pay cash for three hours of work.
Every week I rotate the following sessions:
1) Classical Nudes. Designed to study the human figure...This is strictly about your form and what emotive influence you bring to the pose.
2) Clothed. Everyday casual.
3) Themed costumes. Looking for models that want to push societal norms while helping to create drawings and paintings that provoke interpretation. Looking for people that get into playing "dress up."
Most importantly, I am looking for a conversation that happens, even if non verbally... between your ideas, the canvas and me.
