Hello, my name is Scott. I am a photographer living in San Francisco who is developing a portfolio of professional portrait work. Photography has been a passion of mine since i was a young child and I was given my first camera by my father. I grew up in a small town in NY, and went to college close by, where i studied Sociology and Art. I moved to California in 2003. Over the past few years my work has primarily comprised of natural landscape, and urban street photography, but i had done some artistic B&W studio portraits during college, and recently decided to get back into shooting portraits again, with the hope of eventually pursuing some commercial work. All of the work in my portfolio is from 6/25/09 through the present date, so id like to think i am making quick progress, and have learned a lot over just a few months. I am interested in scenarios where we can mutually benefit and build out portfolios together. Currently photography is something i do in my spare time, when not at the job that pays the bills, but if things continue to go well, soon I'll turn it into my profession.

**as of 9/17/09 i have a portable power pack that will allow me to take my studio lighting on location. If you have an idea for a perfect place for a shoot id love to hear about it.

** as of 8/1/09 I have a private portrait studio in SF with both excellent natural light and a full set of pro lighting/backdrops. It is located on Harrison street in the mission. I'll mostly be shooting in this location for the next few months. I'm mainly looking for TF* at this time.

**if you are wondering what i look like you can find a self-portrait in my portfolio - it's the last one in there - the one with glasses. People often seem surprised to see that I'm a fairly young guy.
