****UPDATE****

I am not booking shoots for the month of December.  First, I want to spend time with my family over the holidays.  Second, I want to catch up on my editing/re-touching.  But, come January, I will be back snapping pics!

I am a photographer with studios on the "fashionable" east side of Milwaukee.  Most of my work is local to Wisconsin, but on ocassion, I do shoots throughout the U.S. and Canada.  I pride myself on capturing the simplicity of a photograph.  While well versed in photoshop, I tend to use it to enhance an image, rather than to create "art."

Ok, a little about my style of photography...I don't shoot bondage or fetish work.  To each their own, but it is just not what I think is art.  I believe in producing works that make the observer look at the subject with admiration, not disdain.  So, my pictures tend to be on the traditional side.  So be it!

I do shoot nudes on ocassion.  But in doing so, I like to leave a bit to the imagination.  I guess that means I will never get a contract shooting for a gentlemen's magazine.

In the summer months I tend to spend less time in the studio.  Two of my passions are wildlife and landscape photography, so when the weather is cooperative, I am trudging through the bush.  And, furry models at times are much less tempermental than their human counterparts, so that is a nice change of pace too.  Although, getting that paw print on a model release can be a bit of a chore.

Finally, I do not believe that anyone should post un-retouched photos.  If you take the time to set up the scene and do the shoot, take the time in post-processing to do the touchup work to produce a product worthy of your efforts.  You owe it to yourself and your subject.

One last thing...if you schedule a shoot with me, please either show up, or at least give me a timely call to let me know you cannot make it.  We all have unexpected things occur in our lives, so cancelling is something that happens.  Pick up the phone!
