My name is Chris Thompson, I am the owner of Northwest Artistic Photography. I have been a professional photographer for sometime now and hold an Associates Degree in Photography. I am a digital photographer that also happens to shoot with film regularly (old school, I know). My Hasselblad and Canon are on every shoot.
I am offering select TFP/CD work to models and I am adding select outdoor nude and non-nude images to my portfolio. If interested, please send me a message letting me know what your interest is.
I am interested in artistic photography and would like to blend my scenic and architectural aspirations with people. Collaboration works best for me; I look forward to sharing and discussing ideas with you. I prefer to meet before a shoot to go over ideas, get to know each other, and sign a model release.
The model release allows you and me to use the photos for any type of promotion (i.e. portfolio, advertising, contests, mySpace, etc). I do not make money off of TF* work, nor should you; unless other arrangements have been discussed prior.
If travel is an issue, arrangements can be made.
You are welcome to bring a chaperone if it would make you feel more comfortable, but please no Significant Others/Boyfriends/Husbands as this can sometimes be distracting and all attention should be on the shoot.
If you're serious about modeling and we've discussed & setup the shoot; show up for the shoot. If you're going to cancel, please give two days notice. I understand things "happen". If you have to cancel, contact me and we can reschedule. A lot of planning goes into every shoot; equipment and gear has to be prepared, locations scouted, a babysitter for our daughter has to be notified (my wife assists on most shoots), etc. Basically, I won't waste your time, please don't waste mine.
Models that do TFCD shoots with me, I cannot stress this enough; I actual lose money shooting TFCD: gas, food, babysitter, props when needed, etc. all come out of my pocket to make a shoot possible. When you don't cancel, don't pick-up the phone when we confirm, or don't show up, you're wasting valuable time that I could be spending with my family, working images, or shooting with a model that will show up. Out of courtesy, please pick-up the phone or email us and let us know if you have to cancel.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Looking forward to making great images with you.
PS. Don't be alarmed by my artistic nudes. Though I enjoy shooting nudes, they are never a requirement by any means. I will work to whatever level you are comfortable.
