A lifelong artist interested in all shapes and sizes, colors and tones - I've honed my style into an impressionistic color usage coupled with classic imagery of human form into a modern pin-up/portrait forte; akin to Elvgren-meets-Matisse in a minimalist setting.
My usage of layers to achieve a uniform texture and a diverse color palette allows my work to blur the lines between subjective classifications and audiences.
Challenging textures and details are what I find most appealing to convey with my oils - lace, latex, vinyl, leather, and hair all present me with a satisfying opportunity to flex my skills as a realism-based artist.
Since having earned a BFA in Design emphasizing Illustration from Cornish College of the Arts in 2005; I seek contract, commission, collaborative, and industry professionals to explore human form, function, structure, and texture in oil paint as a way of communicating to a wide and diverse audience.
