About me

I'm very passionate about my photography. It consumes me. It doesn't pay my bills, which gives me the freedom to shoot what I want. I do shoot paying jobs in order to buy gear.

I am a portrait photographer by nature. This is more than just taking pictures of people... I take portraits of people, animals, plants, objects... In other words, I never hold a camera 'the normal way'.

I still get giddy whenever a concept works out the way I had hoped. My hope is to work with other people who share this feeling. Feel free to contact me if you have ideas for a creative project.

Current Project -- Vampire Shoot
We are in the process of organizing a Vampire Shoot October 24. The shoot will be set in a century-old abandoned warehouse and feature a detailed set including authentic props, theatrical lighting & effects.

We have limited openings for both men and women as either vampires or their 'meals'. Applicants should indicate whether they prefer being cast as a vampire or a meal, and include a brief description of appropriate costuming they can bring (capes, hoods, fangs, jewelry, corsets, night gowns, etc). Applicants should also indicate the hours they are available on the day of the shoot.

We also have a crew opening for a wardrobe stylist.

There will be 3 sessions on Saturday: 10-2, 2-6, and 6-10. Cast selection will be completed by mid September. Session assignments will be made at that time.

	Kip working with you on the vampire shoot is the most fun I ever had with a camera. To see your vision come to life was a truly remarkable event. Rarely does some one have the opportunity to work with a person that has such strong skills in creativity and management. The shoot was such a success.
