Hi.
My name is Staci, but a lot of people know me by Cheeky. I used to do photography in the music scene in Sacramento, Ca. a couple years ago. I mostly shot local bands, but got a few big gigs with bands like Fall Out Boy, Devildriver, and Paramore. Photography used to be my passion, my first love. Then I had a photographer friend ask if I wanted to try the other side of the lens. Move over back of the lens, the front is wayyyy more fun. I've done a couple of shoots with friends who just happened to be professional photographers like Shannon Edgar of White Window Photography, and Kevin Graft of Rockfoto/Kevin Graft Photography. I sort of fell out of the whole scene for a while, focusing on something that actually made me money (banking... Yea, I know... Please shoot me. Pun intended.
hahah) butttt that's lame, so here I am.
I can't call myself an expert by any means, but being a photographer myself, I know what other photographers look for and I catch on pretty quickly as well. I'm heavily tattooed (full sleeves, upper back, right thigh, and various small tattoos) and pierced up and I am not willing to hide these for shoots. This is who I am and how I want to look, if you don't like it, I'm not for you. My hair is a different color every week and it's rarely a "normal" color. Clearly most of my pics I have up now are old and tattooless and I totally need new pictures. That's where you come in.
I love doing alternative, crazy, weird, and out-of-the-norm type shoots. I am also really into tattooed couple pics, and happen to have a sexy hubby to take pictures with, for those looking to build their couples portfolio.
I'm just looking for photographers who want experience and are willing to give me some practice while they get it. If this sounds like you, then let's do the damn thing.
