There are 3 sides to HiveStudios, firstly we operate a large photography studio based in Chandler's Ford, Hampshire. We operate in all areas of photography and operate a full time studio available for hire. Secondly this is the home of SWAVRE Magazine for studio shoots, a high end art nude style magazine we own (details below). Thirdly we operate SJN Studios, a full fledged photography business.

Studio Hire, Resources and Equipment

HiveStudios provide a dynamic and creative studio space at affordable hire prices in the heart of Hampshire. With prices from just £15 per hour!

Our studio space offers a range of facilities on site including a cafe area, offices, open access PC's and high speed internet - along side all of our studio equipment to ensure both amazing images and a comfortable experience for photographers and clients alike.

We have a large of onsite secure car park and we are a easy 10 mins walk from the train station and a 5 mins drive from Junction of 13 of the M3. The studio and changing room are fully air conditioned. The studio employs smart card entry system and CCTV, keeping everyone and everything safe and sound.

HiveStudios aim to offer an friendly, flexible and affordable studio space outside on London. We operate almost 24/7 if required and can arrange models, props, makeup artists and lots more if required by clients. We also provide a range of model days, photography workshops and tuition packages.

SWARVE Magazine

SWARVE Magazine is an exclusive high end art nude fashion style men’s biannual magazine, sold at selected retailers around London and the UK. Commonly features polo life style, high end luxury goods, supercars and similar. Shoots tend to be high fashion in style. Often described as a "posh lads mag". The magazine is 400 pages, gold embossed on the front cover and each issue comes in its own cloth dust bag and box.

We shoot studio and location work, large mansion houses, woodland, urban areas and we travel abroad, recently shooting 9 countries over a 10 day period in Europe!

We normally have our video production company on hand at shoots who will film behind the scenes videos for the magazine.

Models We Want To Shoot

We are looking for models shooting from lingerie to fine art nude. Ideally we are looking for minimal tatoos and body modifications. Natural breasts and the classic English rose type look alongside the high fashion feel, if you think you fit this do get in contact! We will reply as soon as possible.

How We Operate With Models

What we expect of models:

Turn up on time to shoot and keep in contact of any delays
Bring Photographic ID for age with you
Turn up ready to work, not having been out all night the evening before! we like a party but not when working the next day
Mention in advance anything that may have changed since your last shoot, tattoos, piecing’s, scars etc.
Be polite and courteous
Come prepared with anything you agreed to bring, clothing, lingerie etc.
Come ready for make-up and hair to be applied if requested
Model release forms will need to be signed


What you can expect of us:

You will be treated with the utmost respect, we are polite and courteous to all we work with
You will not be asked to do anything you are not happy doing, levels etc. wise
We will provide refreshments, lunch and dinner on shoots where applicable
We are a nice team of people and we ensure everyone is professional and will look after you on our shoots
We will provide a full and complete brief in advance covering all details when we approach you to work with us


Payment


We are a limited company, we are happy to pay models on invoice if they are self-employed and will generally pay on the day unless otherwise agreed. We have £5million public liability cover, this covers us, models and any kit on shoots.



Model costs

We will ask you to provide a per hour (min of 2 hours for all shoots), half day and full day rate for different levels (depending on the model. We do not have a set pay scale for models.
