I am a self taught photographer that has been shooting for 2 years. I don't make a living out of my work and I shoot mainly for fun but I do take photoshoots seriously and hope to create some great images.
Please note : While I used to exclusively shoot TFCD, I am now only shooting limited TFCD. While this is still just a hobby, I am accepting more and more offers that offer payments over TFCD because I am just getting too many requests to shoot.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME YOUR RATES While I understand many models are amazing and deserve to be compensated, this is more of a hobby and I am not looking to offer payment at this time.
This portfolio also marks my first attempts at artificial lighting. I am currently starting with a single external flash and see where it takes me. I hope to move on to other light sources in the near future.

So what is it like to shoot with me?
Many models ask me, "What do you have in mind?" for a shoot. Instead of saying the following words for every shoot inquiry, I'll just post here instead.
What do I have in mind? Well, nothing in particular honestly. Obviously there is some type of premise or foundation to build on, but other than that I don't really like to plan everything to the teeth. I enjoy being random and spontaneous when shooting. Because I do not do studio work (will soon tho), I like to be inspired by the model and location. What my eyes see is what gives me inspiration.
All my photoshoots have been completely random, and unplanned. Being that I am a full time student, full time network admin, and i have a Cuban wife (LOL!), my time is very limited and I do not scout areas before I shoot. When doing a shoot, a model and I literally look for interesting spots around town. Once we find a location that looks a little bit interesting, the model and I begin shooting. After being satisfied with the shots, the model and I go off to look for another location. Every photograph in my portfolio was taken this way. So long as a model packs a very diverse wardrobe, then that is all I need. I guess you can say I play it by ear. This style of random shooting is how I work. I am always open to location suggestions made by models.
So if you ask me "What do you have in mind?", please note that I don't really plan my shoots from start to finish. I get inspired by the model, location and the wardrobe the model brings with her. Part of the fun for me is that once I leave my door with my camera and backpack, I have no idea what little treasures of art I will be bringing back with me.
