You found my profile from a photographer's MM portfolio I worked with in the past, from one of my listed photos, from my tumblr or facebook, from a workshop description I'm posing for, or maybe you've participated to the PhotoShoot Award "Nude" 2013 and wanted to know about the jury which I was part of? Whatever the reason, now you're here and I thanks you for stopping by on my MM profile which I try to keep as instructive and creative as possible.

Phylactere
My model name is Phylactere and I have been a freelance model since 2008.
I work for photography, but I am also a fine art model, posing for drawers, digital artists, cartoonist, painters and sculptors. I model for students, beginners, intermediate as well as professional people in the filed.

I'm from France, I speak French and English fluently.
I often travel to the US and to Europe.

My whole family is into art (sculptors, painter, dancers, musicians, actor, circus performer...)

Abilities
I'm athletic and train 6days/week when I'm not traveling. I don't work weights... I find it boring.
I have different background in sports and artistic styles :
dance  = ballet for 8years, 2years of contemporary dance. Just got back into serious practice in March)
circus  = Trapeze, hand-balancing and hand to hand duo with Kweku #2989880, still practicing
martial arts = Karate (1year), Tae Kwon Do (2years), JuiJitsu, and I am now into Kung Fu.
yoga = I also teach yoga and wrote my thesis about modern yoga. 
I did acting for a few years.

I'm flexible, can split and bend.
I know my body, I know how to move & how to be expressive.

NUDE

I do nude, I like doing nude, I like to work with my body.
But I don't do sex, or anything related to it. I don't open my legs.
I won't consider anything vulgar.
Apart from that, I'm flexible, especially if you're portfolio shows real art.

I have a small nose-ring piercing (can be taking off), no tatoo

Details of the shooting
If you're interested in working together come up to me with your questions if you have, ideas, concepts and details
-location,
-stylist or MUA involved
-other models or photographers involved
-how many hours you're willing to shoot
-what's your budget
-what style you're interested in
-travel expenses if it is relevant

Note that :
-I can propose concept and brainstorm something with you if you need help
-I work with beginners and students, so don't be shy to ask
-I can do my own hair and make up
-I have a large wardrobe and collection of antique jewels

Conditions and Release
-I will keep the right to refuse anything that we haven't spoke about before the photoshoot. It's why details of what you want are important, so that I can tell you exactly what I'll do and what are my limits.
-I sign model releases. When you pay me, you buy the rights on the photos we've taken.
-Ultimately, I won't sign model release if it's a collaboration, neither during workshop because it's an exercise. If you want to display or use a photo we've taken in those condition anywhere outside your portfolio, we can sign a specific contracts for this one only.
-I always add to contracts that I want to be notify when the photos are displayed any other places than your portfolio (books, exhibitions), and if it is for commercial use, then we'll have to come up with a specific contract for that.
-As I do a lot of nude, I know it can happen that you catch genitals part by accident, I don't want those photos to be displayed if it shows my face if I didn't agree first.



Hourly Wage
You book me for 1.5 hour min if you're in Montreal, 2hours if you leave further than 30min drive.
Half Day 4hours
Full day 6 to 7 hours

My rates will depends on the style, the concept, and the conditions.
Suggest me your offer or I'll propose my rates.

TF
I'll consider collaboration with Photographers, MUA, Stylist, Video Maker and/or Models only if I like your style, and if your concept will enhance my portfolio.
I may sometimes propose Collaboration myself if you style hits me and make me want to work on something very specific.
I'll always give priority to paid gigs.
