Dear Model Mayhem,
My name is Blerta (Beta) and I am originally from Peja, Kosova I(eastern Europe). I currently reside in the capital, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Besides my love for piano, academics, and sports, which essentially I view as a job, a career- modeling and fashion I feel are a calling. Through modeling and fashion I report the heights satisfaction- when modeling, my focused state diminishes my awareness of passing time. When you experience this feeling of flow, you can be certain that you love that thing.
I experience achievement motivation, my desire for significant accomplishment for everything rather then only one thing. Essentially, I have been working as a model since the age of 14. At first, I could only think of two ways to use my height, modeling and basketball. I love basketball however, I would rather look pretty and tall rather then sweaty and strong.
Ultimately, I hope to compete for Miss Canada this year (since I did not attend last year) and thus prepare to win. Through this interactive and artistic site, I hope to meet new and talented people so we can create some art.
In regards to future goals, I hope to integrate Fashion and Global Health problems in hopes of meeting the essential needs of our universe and its residence. Through the use of fashion, beauty, creativeness, photography we can join the world and help those in need without catering to social structures, politics or conflict. Just like music and sports, Fashion-Modeling knows no race, no culture, and thus this way WE can eradicate extreme poverty, improve child health, and live in a happy world.
