MAXIM MAGAZINE HAS REFERRED TO VERONIKA LONDON AS THE "MEGAN FOX OF THE NORTH HOLLYWOOD."
Veronika London is quickly becoming the sexy actress that is taking over the Independent Feature Film industry in Canada. Recenlty, named the “Megan Fox of Hollywood North” and that she has “Jolie’s attitude” by Maxim magazine, one can only wonder how long will she actually stay in the “North”. At 22, London’s raw talent and ambition have catapulted her to the fast-track. Coming off a recent television appearance on the provocative HBO series Lingerie, London rode the “exposure” to land features in Maxim and UMM magazines. Recently she has finished shooting the independent feature film “Mvnerva”, where she plays a gorgeous and unlikely assassin which showcases her acting abilities and stage combat training. The starlet is also scheduled to play title roles in the upcoming Independent feature films, "How to Cook like a Pornstar" and "Burning Amber"
London will be starting principal photography for her next film "Jane Doe", where she plays a prostitute with a heroin addiction that later suffers amnesia in early December. Born in Mexico city and raised in Toronto, the Latin "Femme Fatale" recently finished shooting the second season of SHOWTIMES's sexy TV- series Body Language, where she showcases her raw sensuality. In addition to her film and television career, she is the product model for "JUZD", the planet's first bamboo designer label and will be one of the new host for Toro Magazine’s new segment “Damage Control” in the new year to come.

Not Just a Sex Icon, London also has Jolie's raw attitude in her next Indie Feature Film "Jane Doe"
London's next project will be sure to put her on the map and showcase her acting abilities. The title character, Jane Doe, played by Veronika London (Showtime's "Body Language," HBO series "Lingerie" and our lovely product model!) is a young prostitute and heroin addict found by paramedics laying on the street in a pool of blood. She is the victim of a violent altercation which leaves her with a severe head injury. Stricken by amnesia and struggling with her heroin addiction, she is on a quest to discover her identity, but most importantly who did this to her and why. Along her quest she comes along several characters from her past and the clues to the answers she seeks slowly come to light, revealing many horrible truths. With this information, feelings of curiosity quickly turn to a thirst for retribution."Jane Doe" goes into production in January 2010 with principal photography lasting 30 days. The majority of the film will be shot in Toronto, Canada with additional scenes to be shot in Los Angeles.

Fluent in several martial arts and trained in medieval combat, Veronika London serves as a cautionary tale for men everywhere: if you’re foolish enough to judge a book by it’s cover, make sure that that book isn’t highly trained in the art of killing.
Veronika has the intrinsic ability to seduce and intimidate in the same breath, and has landed several modeling and acting gigs which emphasize that “femme fatale” je ne sais quoi- some of which have gained international attention.
A turning point in her career was a much anticipated love scene in the HBO’s new series Lingerie. “The producers and director were trying to make me as comfortable as possible. At first, I was a little hesitant, but in the end I just went with it”. Growing up extremely self- conscious, Veronika has just recently abandoned her shyness and begun to embrace her body. “Being naked infront of the camera can be extremely empowering; after that sex scene I felt incredibly liberated’.
While shooting Lingerie, rumours arose of an off-screen romance with co-star Jonathan Steen. Veronika quickly refutes any notion of a relationship, claiming “we’re just friends.” Apparently, her heart belongs to celebrity crush James Franco. Currently, she’s putting the finishing touches on her soon to be released e-book “Shoot me Naked: Change the invisible to change the Visible”, which will be available in her new website (
www.veronikalondon.com) late fall. The book explores various avenues toward a healthier lifestyle, and was inspired by her own troubled childhood and inner turmoil she suffered with low self- esteem and eating disorders.
As for her time off, Veronika hits up the club scene in style. Not a huge fan of beer, she prefers a “dry vodka martini, shaken with olives”, and for the morning after?” Eggs scrambled, sausage and brown toast”

Veronika London brings out the protective instinct in a man. She’s pretty and demure, and immediately makes one think of throwing a raincoat over a puddle or holding open a door. But best to proceed with caution. She studies martial arts, takes kick-boxing classes, has undergone medieval combat training and plays a terrorist in an upcoming Spanish-language film. She’s like pretty Miho, the mute female assassin in Frank Miller’s Sin City – silent and graceful, yet potentially deadly. London reflects on her militaristic exercise regime: “If I didn’t do it, I wouldn’t know how to handle stress. I’d need to punch something.”
There's a sense of femme fatale in her TORO Woman photo gallery, so maybe we shouldn't be surprised when Veronika London says that after playing an ambitious young model in a TV series called Lingerie she'd like to tackle a role in an action film. London does study martial arts and take kick-boxing classes and, she tells us in her TORO Woman interview, that if she wasn't an actress she wouldn't mind doing stunt work. London met with photographer Franco Deleo for these sultry images.

JUZD Product Model Veronika London to be Featured on HBO Show
What do we love more than when JUZD gets noticed? Obviously, we love it when affiliates of JUZD gets recognition for their hard work! Product model for the Big 2-5 handmade shirt (i.e. your sure invite to Chris Bosh's 25th birthday bash) Veronika London got noticed by always trendy HBO.
London will be featured in the series "Lingerie," which is set to premier this summer, as a model named Cindy. The series, set in the modeling mecca of New York City, follows models behind the scenes and allows viewers to witness these young beautiful women learn the tough lessons of the business at the hands of unscrupulous photographers and directors.
When asked about what she thought of her role in "Lingerie," London was delighted to reply:
"The experience has been surreal. I had a chance to work with an amazing cast and crew and directors that really knew how to communicate with actors to get the type of shots they wanted . Acting is definitely my number one passion. I've had a chance to see the first episode . The opening scene is actually a photoshoot of me! I found it really funny how I ended up playing a model on TV when modeling wasn't even my plan to persue but it seems to be what is opening doors. At the moment the show is only airing in the shoot and will come in Canada in the fall or in the new year !"

Our Fab Spring Summer 2010 Product Models: Veronika London and Jonathan Steen
When you go traveling abroad and ask the locals what they think of Canadians, the answer is always the same: nice and friendly. So it comes as no surprise that when actress Veronika London (who is also our fabulous product model) was cast and started filming HBO's "Lingerie," she decided to share her love for JUZD with the rest of the cast by dressing them up in a couple of our tees!
Aside from being featured on the the TV series "Lingerie" as the hot model Cindy, Veronika definitely is sure to keep herself busy as she is currently taking on three independent film projects: "How to Cook Like a Pornstar," "Reckless Measures," and "Acid Heads." All three of these films are slated to be released in 2010. But what else does Veronika have in store for 2010? Well, since she was such a delight for our Spring Summer 2009 line, it was obvious that she should be our product model again for the Spring Summer 2010 collection!
When Veronika shared those JUZD tees with the "Lingerie" cast, it caught the eye of Jonathan Steen, who plays the cool and charismatic character "Russ." He too will be featured as a product model for the Spring Summer 2010 collection!
Jonathan, born in Tokyo Japan, says that his dedicated work ethic stems from his acceptance of the Japanese culture. This adopted outlook is also apparent in his commitment to his physique and to the goals of his exclusive personal training clients. He also demonstrates an easygoing, spiritual side, which can be seen through his adaptations on screen and in photo shoots . Like Veronika, Jonathan is also busy and is currently working on two independent feature films: "Dead Genesis" and "BWAS."
When asked of his experience shooting "Lingerie" Jonathan had this to say:
“What a surreal experience! I had an awesome time working with the cast and crew while learning the on-screen dynamic. Walking into my first audition I had no expectations of being casted, even for a walk on role. Scoring a lead role was something I never thought imaginable."
