Paul Roberts is the most promising of an encouraging group of young Canadian horror directors.With partners Jeremy Shell (Producer) and Michael Jari Davidson (DOP), Roberts embraces Canada's dark side in Burning Amber. The film tells the story of an arsonist who awakes an ancient evil in an old-growth forest. That's right, it's environmentally conscience horror. Paying homage to Cronenberg, Roberts promises that his film is in our blood. The film stars up-and-comer Veronika London.

Veronika London is quickly becoming the sexy actress that is taking over the Independent Feature Film industry in Canada. At 22, London’s raw talent and ambition landed her on the pages of many magazines, music videos, television and movies. Coming off a recent television appearance on the provocative HBO series Lingerie, London rode the “exposure” to land features in Maxim and UMM and now Industry Insider. The Edgy Canadian actress has been named the “Megan Fox of Hollywood North” by Maxim Magazine.

Veronika wasted no time in 2010 to get in front of the camera, shooting feature film "Jane Doe". In this challenging role, Veronika will be playing a prostitute with a heroin addiction that later suffers amnesia and tries to find herself in the hard cold streets. The starlet is also scheduled to play title role in Paul Robert’s film “Burning Amber” in spring 2010.

Born in Mexico City and raised in Toronto, the Latin "Femme Fatale" can be seen this spring in the second season of SHOWTIMES's sexy TV series Body Language, where she flaunts her raw sensuality full tilt. Recently she has finished shooting the independent feature film “Mvnerva”, where she plays a gorgeous and unlikely assassin; showcasing her stage combat training. Industry Insider invited the gorgeous assassin to Combat Asylum get into the ring.

Bloody Disgusting has recently scored an exclusive first look at a new film titled ‘Black Eve’.

The film centers around a woman with psychic abilities, who retraces the last steps of her fellow guests at a Halloween party, in a closed down department store, who all turn up dead by morning.

‘Black Eve’ is helmed by Ryan M. Andrews. The cast includes Veronika London, Niel Green, Canadian hip-hop singer Peter Jackson.

    Veronika London brings out the protective instinct in a man. She’s pretty and demure, and immediately makes one think of throwing a raincoat over a puddle or holding open a door. But best to proceed with caution. She studies martial arts, takes kick-boxing classes, has undergone medieval combat training and plays a terrorist in an upcoming Spanish-language film. She’s like pretty Miho, the mute female assassin in Frank Miller’s Sin City – silent and graceful, yet potentially deadly. London reflects on her militaristic exercise regime: “If I didn’t do it, I wouldn’t know how to handle stress. I’d need to punch something.”

    There's a sense of femme fatale in her TORO Woman photo gallery, so maybe we shouldn't be surprised when Veronika London says that after playing an ambitious young model in a TV series called Lingerie she'd like to tackle a role in an action film. London does study martial arts and take kick-boxing classes and, she tells us in her TORO Woman interview, that if she wasn't an actress she wouldn't mind doing stunt work. London met with photographer Franco Deleo for these sultry images.
