Born and raised in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Margaux grew up an ambitious only child. At six years old, she was already creating businesses with fortune-telling popcorn, stamped stationery, and clay figurines. By the time she was senior at Lake Oswego High School, she formed JAM Jewelry with two of her classmates. JAM Jewelry was such a success that their products were featured in the Brass Plum at Nordstrom.
In 2004, Margaux graduated from Kent State University in Ohio. She was an active member of her sorority Alpha Phi and received her BS in Fashion Merchandising. Upon graduating, Margaux went to work for Nike Inc as the Communications Specialist for the Asia Pacific region. She was responsible for creating unique press materials that included the seasonal Design Innovation Footwear press kits. She also aided in the execution of several large press events. This was how she got her start in marketing and public relations.
Margaux formed her own company called Margaux Inc in 2006. Margaux Inc was a marketing agency that specialized in the fashion, health, and beauty industries. This company was featured in numerous publications including The Oregonian, The Lake Oswego Review, and AM Northwest. Margaux Inc worked with a variety of fashion designers, retailers, and other businesses before closing its doors in the beginning of 2008.
Margaux is currently lives in Lake Oswego with her two Pomeranians, Bridget and Bentley Baubles. She is in grad school studying to obtain her Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition. Upon graduation, Margaux hopes to become a Certified Clinical Nutritionist and specialize in providing Nutrition Response Tests to her clients. She is currently researching the link between addictions and substance abuse as it relates to chemical deficiencies in the body.
