I've been holding a pen and charcoal since childhood, and I love the simple act of putting lines on paper. I seek out beauty and try to derive nuance in black and white. I try to capture the spirit of my subject-- the playfulness, the gentleness, the boldness. I hope to bring out whatever is already there.
