It‟s no surprise that Tyree Williams-Kelly is one of the most sought after stylists of today. He has unmistakable style, class, and sophistication which rival top professionals twice his age. Not only can he craft styles with what seems to be effortless ability, but he is also a total package who consistently showcases his multifaceted talent and versatility, which is why he is called “The Universal Stylist”.
Tyree‟s interest in hair began at the age of nine. He would accompany his Grandmother to the hair salon in Philadelphia, where they would both receive hair services. He would watch intently as the stylist would style his Grandmother‟s and other clients‟ hair. Tyree convinced his Mother, Grandmother, and Aunts to let him experiment with their hair. Those experiments eventually resulted in viable, creative, and/or original styles that not only continued to keep his family returning, but also piqued the interest of others in his natural raw talent and ability.
By the age of twelve, Tyree‟s steady clientele of family and friends began increasing. It was amazing to others how this young man could make hair move and contour the way that he had wanted it to. He had a very good range of styles in his hair closet: up-do‟s, press & curls, and wet sets were just some of the services he would provide. However, it was Tyree‟s eye for creativity which stood him apart.
Upon graduating from Camden County Technical School in 2003, Tyree eagerly enrolled in Rizzieri Schools for Beauty and Wellness from which he earned his cosmetology license. He has been involved in cosmetology for eighteen years, barbering for five years, and make up artistry for five years. His clientele spans across the United States and includes his Pastor, Apostle Saundra L. Hagans and star personalities like fashion and celebrity stylist Alisa Maria, Real Housewives of Atlanta star and supermodel Cynthia Bailey, Kelly Price, Donna Richardson-Joyner, Twinkie Clark, Lexi, Dr. Traci Lynn Burton, Seattle news anchor Angela Russell, members of Sony Gospel„s Tye Tribbett & GA, various NFL wives, and many more.

Tyree was also a featured stylist on the hit BETJ reality TV show “Tears, Shears, and Beauty”. He is the founder and CEO of Universal Stylist Inc., and the current President of the Hair Oscars Association. He also devotes many hours to educating young stylists, and is a supporter of many Cancer and HIV/AIDS foundations.
In 2011, Tyree became the proprietor and senior stylist of his first salon, Tai Couture Salon – located in Pennsauken NJ.
Tyree is looking forward to many years involvement in the cosmetology field. He is paving the way for his legacy, which is to edify and uplift people through hair, fashion, beauty, and philanthropy. His goal is to help people realize their true potential with love, care, kindness and hospitality.
