Recently I read a profile where a woman talked about her experience as a child with makeup. She said while most moms yelled at their kids for playing with their makeup, her mom let her play with makeup all the time and it made her want to become a makeup artist. I had a similar experience. My grandmother would bring out her diamonds and lipstick and I would play for hours. My grandmother was beautiful and composed and she was the epitome of a southern woman. Strong, poised and beautful. So, i decided to name my business Magnolia after a beautiful, strong yet delicate, southern flower.

I aim for excellence in makeup. This industry is one I am passionate about and want to excell in. I have been working on making my portfolio more eclectic. My main job is as the makeup artist for a television show called Second Take. I am looking to expand my talent and work with photographers and models who have a very artistic edgy side.
