I'm interested in shooting men & women, leaning to editorial but really not established enough to say how or what i shoot. Comping some shots for tests or zed cards. Or just casual shooting fun.
At this point i work gratis, the only time i would get into charging would be for additional prints and what not. You scratch my back ill scratch yours, kinda deal.

I'm a Graphic Designer, for the most part. That's where my training is at least. I've always enjoyed playing with the camera but never really had confidence in my ability to use one. Until i hired someone to shoot something for me who was a pro, when i saw what they did I felt i could do that or maybe better. So I decided to take photo classes as an elective to my Art Direction/Design major. That gave me little momentum, but at least a good base knowledge.
It wasn't until several years later when I went to a lecture by designer David Carson that my love for the lens began. He stated that he had a camera on him at all times to capture any environmental sources of inspiration to apply to his work ( this was before camera phones ). I thought it would be an interesting experiment so i decided to try it with whatever i had and at time, sometimes resorting to multi-packs of disposable 35's. This lead me to the Lomo, which i made a contract to carry on my person for 1 year straight. Which i did and in the process ended up having shots i accrued published in several places. Since then it's stuck with me, I always have a camera on me.
I'm always looking for something to shoot. Somewhere in that process was my 3 years I spent designing, retouching and being around a fashion magazine, It really got me interested in the idea of shooting people. Roughly 9 years have passed in this process of bettering myself through photography. Then i hit the wall of being limited with compact camera's and sought after the control of an SLR I learned on in college. So i went out and got a good digital SLR and have been slowly learning the finer points of more advanced photography.
That's where I am today and I just want to shoot people, lots and lots of people.
