In honor of the 10th year of my mom's difficult ongoing battle with Breast Cancer, I've recently pledged to shave my head if I can raise $5,000 for the Susan G Komen Foundation by Thanksgiving. If you're interested in donating, spreading the word, or want more information on my mom's story, why/what I'm doing, please visit the facebook page I have set up for it:
http://tinyurl.com/emilygoesbald . Every little bit helps! Thank you! **UPDATE** I ended up raising a bit over $12,000 in that time and my head is now shaved! Thanks to anyone who helped!!
Hi! I'm a 19 year old photographer, concentrating mostly on fashion and portraiture if you want to put it technically. I go to school at Northeastern University in Boston, and live in Westfield, NJ whenever I'm home. My town is easily accessible from NY by train, bus, or car
Right now I am ONLY shooting TF if I approach you. I'm sorry!
Contact me for rates, they normally range between $60-$100/shoot.
In case you're wondering, my current equipment is:
Nikon D700
Nikkor 50mm f/1.4
Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 HSM
as well as an Instax 210 (instant film)
Nikon N65 35mm film camera
Kowa 6mm 120mm film camera
Pentax 6x7 120mm film camera
A little more about the workshop:
I was invited to a fashion photography workshop in Paris this summer, led by the successful fashion photographer Steven Silverstein, where I got to have several professionally produced photoshoots (casting agency models, high fashion wardrobe, professional team) as well as learn the ins and outs of the industry. It was the best experience of my life. I learned so much, and I really feel that my work has gotten better because of it! For more information on the program, feel free to message me!

What I'm really looking for in a model is someone who is out of the ordinary, and not afraid to be so. Who is able to radiate youth or eccentricity or whatever we are going for, who is not afraid to let go and pose creatively-- more of a feeling pose rather than a thinking one. When a model feels awkward or self-conscious, it shows BADLY on camera, so I prefer models who are not afraid to let loose of themselves and get into character. I love models that don't need much direction, but take it well when I give it.
