IMPORTANT STUFF
It doesn't matter if you are a guy or a girl...if this is your first time shooting with me, I *highly* recommend you bring someone along with you to the shoot. Not only will this make you more comfortable, I will have someone to use as a free assistant. Haha, just kidding. Seriously though, you should always bring a friend. You never know what kind of weirdos are out there.

Else, I recommend we meet over coffee/tea/lunch/shave ice before we actually shoot so no one gets any surprises the day of. I find we both get better results this way.

SUGOI FACTORY - mass producing 'sugoi' on an unprecedented scale! (You probably don't get this if you don't speak at least a little Japanese, haha...)


I'm not here to waste time, be it mine or yours. I usually get only one chance to deliver [insert lame mailman joke here]. I also don't stand for crappy wait times for images -- you will get your shots within a week. If you don't, I owe you a large shave ice. With ice cream. And azuki beans. And condensed milk on top. BUT, if you don't choose the rainbow-flavored kine, I'm going to consider you 'lame.'

During a shoot with me, you will have 100% of my undivided attention because I'm sure you're just as busy as I am, and your time is VERY important to me. If my phone rings and I answer it during a photoshoot with you, then rest assured that either:

a) all the superheroes of the world were on vacation and they needed someone to save the planet (me again)

b) all the homeless people I fed the week before wanted to tell me thanks (and they're probably calling from a pay-phone, which means they only get one shot to talk)

OR

c) my mom is calling and I have to pick up, because I love my mom.

In any case, me answering my cell phone while shooting you also equals free shave ice. A small one, this time. And no, no ice cream. That stuff is not cheap, you know. Photographers are not rich people...obviously because all our money goes to equipment and damned shave ice.


With that being said, shooting should be FUN. If you don't have a sense of humor, or can't take a joke (sexual-harassment issues totally aside -- I don't stand for that kind of stuff), then please take your pretty self elsewhere.


As for myself, I'm Oahu born and raised and love the outdoors. I hike, run, workout, yoga, bodyboard, and freedive avidly. I also don't drink or smoke (in other words, I'm a really boring individual).
