About me
[SELECTIVE TESTING. Currently not looking for models, as i'll be briefly taking a documentary based route for my uni work. However, will be looking to shoot the odd one or two unrelated shoots in between as well as afterwards, however i'm now very selective with who I shoot with so please don't be offended if i'm not interested at this current time.]
Charlotte, 21, Photography student at Kingston University, living in Kent/South-East London.
For years i've been preaching that 'i'm definitely not a fashion photographer', despite everyone telling me otherwise, but I think it's time to accept that fashion is a big part of my work. However, my ideas are often heavily concept-driven; i'm particularly influenced by cinema and have a strange love affair with colour. I'm looking to work with creatives who share a similar artistic viewpoint to myself, and people who are both distinctive in their personal style but also adaptable chameleons!
Things you need to know if you want to work with me:
- I like shooting in a chilled out environment, so having a joke and a laugh over coffee between/before shooting is pretty good in my books; a good mixture of professionalism and a sense of fun essential!
- Be prepared to brave the wilderness! I almost always shoot on location outdoors.
- I provide between 6 - 8 fully edited images from a shoot, depending on the success and nature of the shoot. Your photos will be with you within 2 weeks, depending on my schedule, sometimes earlier than that! If for whatever reason they're going to be later than this, then I will inform you.
- I watermark my images for TF shoots, if you would like unwatermarked versions for printing, advertisement, etc, then payment will be required. For paid shoots you will receive the unwatermarked images automatically. This is to protect my images, and to ensure that people are using them for the right reasons.
- Its all about David Lynch, Twin Peaks, red, gangsters, glitter, trippy dream sequences, Sam Mendes, suits, and Satoshi Kon. If you like any of these things, we'll probably be a pretty decent team. Over the coming months i'm looking to stick my fingers in a few more photographic pies that i'm less knowledgeable about; these include but are not limited to: art nudes/implied, surrealism, the weirder end of high fashion, mixed media photography, and more.
- I'm down with people cancelling a shoot, but if you cancel I need 48 HOURS NOTICE unless its an emergency or something unforseen like illness; I can't keep having people drop out and having mine and others time wasted when we could have done something else. Also, if you cancel a shoot I expect you to come to me to rearrange it, I will not be chasing you up unless i've been the one to reschedule.
