About me
[CURRENTLY TAKING PAID SHOOTS/PERSONAL PORTFOLIO WORK ONLY. Now that i've started university, my time is limited to personal projects and paid work only. Get in touch if you want to work with me still - i'm always on the hunt for interesting faces for my work! I love working with new people, whether they be models, make up artists, hair stylists, and so on. Charlotte, 20, Photography student. Living in Kent/London.
Photography came about as a hobby through my initial love for fine art and illustration, and in recent years it has taken over the latter to be my biggest passion. I'm primarily interested in creating work with a sense of narrative and character, and am heavily inspired by film and cinema, particularly directors such as David Lynch and Satoshi Kon. I generally shoot concept based work; fashion work is of little interest to me unless it's with a fantastic team, or if it has some kind of unique flair to it. For me to do a fashion shoot it has to have something 'a little more out of the ordinary'.
I tend to work on location, and prefer to work out in the open with natural light.
I also, at present, do not work with anything other than natural light and my trusty reflector; so no studio lights or flashguns.
I provide somewhere around 10 images from a shoot, depending on the success and nature of the shoot, send them either in a zip folder or via dropbox, and provide both high-res and web-sized images. Unless specifically stated, you'll have your photos to you within the space of 2 weeks, and often quicker than that - I enjoy editing!
I've been having lots of issues with people cancelling on me at the last minute - this is fine, depending on the circumstances, but if you cancel at the last minute and don't make efforts to rearrange, I won't be willing to work with you again. Only people serious about working with me please.
