I see beauty in Nature; and in the female form — and forms… — in particular.
In my studio, I like to play with light and poses until the model is shown at her best, like — so do I hope — a classical statue by masters such as Rodin, Bourdelle or classical antiques as seen in the Louvre and other art museums.
It doesn't mean that I prefer "static" art over more dynamic work; it just happens to be the mainstream of my artistic approach.
I work almost exclusively with curvy models. As Gaudi — the famous architect — once said: "The straight line belongs to man, the curve to God". I stand with him.
Sometimes, my approach might look minimalist or even ascetic. But I don't despise humor at all and I also enjoy making photographic jokes and tongue-in-cheek pictures.
