About Me

The future probably belongs to people who see possibilities before they become obvious. It belongs to those very travelers who pierce through the clouds of oblivion with the force of their determination. I've always believed that the answer to my destiny lies in creating the results that I desire. To tread upon the hallowed grounds of a successful and fruitful career, I must determine the shape that my actions will take, and trust in their finality. This, I am confident will lead me on to the roads of my destiny. By the time I was 10, I realized that the only thing I could do really well was designing. After my 10+2, I got enrolled for B.Com Correspondence from DU. But my passion drove me to enroll for Photoshop after a brief stint of HTML, Java Script and Multimedia. Later I got training for Desktop Publishing and illustrator, Flash, Photoshop and Adobe After effects etc. After I finished my schooling, I started working as freelance retouching and graphic designer for renowned photographers (comprising of image edit and color correction) which developed slowly and steadily into a career option. Personal satisfaction also plays a key role in my career. I enjoy acquiring new skills and information, which helps me to adapt to the fast changing world, as well as stimulate my interest in innovation. A true picture of the corporate world and an exposure to the media environment in India coupled with graduation lead me get associated initially with leading Indian fashion and advertising photographer Mr. Tarun Khiwal. Under his banner I have worked as in-house retoucher for renowned big corporate such as Chanel, Nike, Reebok, Lakme, Adidas, Ponds etc. I got to work with big designers such as Manish Arora, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani and Rajesh Pratap. As second assistant I have been to countries such as Malaysia and Dubai for my work assignments. In India too I have frequently visited Mumbai, Jaipur, Udaipur and Goa-Mecca of Foreign tourist for my ssignments. Though many accomplishments have been to my credit till the date. But, I still remember that Elle Magazine, Mumbai office large size photograph display of their 10th edition magazine cover retouched & color Corrected (by me entirely) for which we have been applauded and rewarded. Later on I have shifted my focus as a Freelance retouching and Graphic Design mainly for Marie Claire for renowned photographers. I enjoy sense of productivity and usefulness I gain from the work and feel it is a valuable experience for future employment. And Now I am studying my Masters in Graphic Design and Communication from UCA, University for the Creative Arts. But I strongly believe that what we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not because the nature of the thing has changed, but because the power to do it has increased.
