About me
First i would like to thank you for taking the time to look at my page.
Hello,
Most people would consider me a bit odd and strange. I find that these two things are true. When i am planning for a shoot i tend to have the image (exactly how i want it) in my head. I dont just stumble upon them. I just bring them out from my head onto film. Just because i have everything planned out doesnt mean i cant be advanterous, or that ill go nuts if something goes wrong. Im very laid back and like to bring that attitud to my shoots.
I have been behind a camera for a little over 6 years, and i have found that i never get bored of it.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my, or someone elses idea, on paper. Its like Christmass every day! That being said, id like to give you some of my background info. Im A student at the Academy of Art University, have been for a little over two years. Before that i did some photo work at a local community college. So ive hadtime to really find my "style."
I really love doing children photography but i also like conceptual and high fashion photography also. I better i watch americas next top model every season. FEEEEEEIRCE! HAHa
How i work
-choose a model that inspires me, my muse.
-Make props/find locations/make outfits
-Send model tear sheets/examples of the style of the photoshoot for practice.
-pick out some songs to play at the shoot (for me not the model)
-Shoot
-make CD/tear sheets for model
-Finish the image to uplad on MM
i find it helps both the model and myself if i take at least 6 of those seven steps. Makes for a better shoot!
So now im looking for MUA/Designers/Hair Stylist and of course models.
I essentially want to make a team of at least one of each of those people to do multiple shoots with, that way we all learn how we think/work making the work that is produced that much better. So if you are interested in working with me let me know and ill get back to you when i get an idea specific for your look/work.
