My name is Carrie, I'm a Mom, a Wife, and a person who is lucky enough to do what I love and get paid for it. I'm going into my third year of doing this professionally. I was also lucky enough to intern under Ryan Manthey of Pure7Studios in 2008. If you are "new" to the business the best advice I could give you would be to go find a photographer in your local area that you admire and see if you can help them! There is just nothing else that compares to hands on experience. Instead of going on and on about how much photography means to me, I hope my photos already speak that for themselves. I love what I do. and I'm blessed to be doing it. It's as simple as that.
