Daleena Quenna Townsend a.k.a Nena D., is not your everyday eye candy model, this Bronx, New York born and raised only child has come to carve a niche for herself in the fashion and modeling industry. Nena D., a very versatile, sassy, sultry uninhibited but somewhat seductive & distinctive model, discovered her passion and love for the fashion industry from her early stage in life, as she has learned to pose in-front of the camera at every single opportunity she was given. Growing up in Edenwald Housing Projects, one of the "toughest & most dreaded" Projects in New York City, has never taken anything away from model Nena D., on the contrary, it toughens her passion and decision to succeed in this somewhat “unpredictable” modeling and fashion industry. Always wearing a sultry smile that can melt any stony heart, this which happen to be one of her best features. One of her greatest motivation has been the tremendous love and unflinching support her mother has given her career over the years.
Nena D. combines both brains and beauty as she holds an Associate Degree in Math & Science and a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Marketing & Management while also being a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Taking on a full time job in the Fashion Industry during and after her college education, Nena D. still continues to model on the side and continues to hold up her promise to always make her mom proud by staying focused and dedicated to her career. Call her a "tomboy" you aren't far from the truth, just as she is an ardent lover of sports; basketball being her sport of choice since Junior High School. Her love for basketball helped her get through High School, took her overseas to Spain while in High School, and also helped her pay for her first college education. Over the years, several popular urban and fashion photographers has approached Nena D. to be a part of their projects due to her features and lovely character on and off the camera. Nena D. being a very open minded, daring in front of the camera, passionate, flexible and ready to experiment in front of the camera model, has made her the toast and bride of many photographers, runway show promoters and fashion industry experts who crave a mind and talent that delivers their creative shots as seen by their lenses.
Nena D. is available for Runway Projects, Calendars, Online and Print Magazine Publications, Tear Sheets, Music Videos, Book Covers, Album Covers and of course Photo shoots (which includes but not limited to: Beauty, Head Shots, High Fashion and Urban Fashion, Glamour, Artistic/Implied Nude, Swimwear, Lingerie, Pin-up, Body Paint/Art and Retro/Vintage. Also with her bubbly and attention grabbing personality, Nena D. is also available to host parties and events.
