About me
My name is Heather and I am the owner and founder of Stormy Eyez Photography. I am from beautiful Cape Town, South Africa and have been living in Baltimore, MD since 1997. I enjoy taking a variety of photos and have been doing so for years. I have a horse and have always loved them, so of course I have many photos of him as well as other horses. I also enjoy taking portraits of all kinds such as family portraits, portraits of people posing creatively as well as posing with their pets/animals - dogs, cats, horses etc.
My goals are to continually grow as a photographer and to create beautiful and interesting photographs. I made this profile because I am looking for models (male or female) who are athletic and would like to do some outdoor shoots, preferably in and around water (weather-permitting of course!) or the woods/in a state park type of area. I love nature and the outdoors in general and make it my goal to incorporate it in my work. I am open to any and all ideas and love to be creative!

LATEST NEWS:
1. I am officially published in "The Zone" magazine, a BRAND NEW magazine covering Harford and Baltimore county mainly. I am one of only 2 contributing photographers and you will see my name first on the bio page ;) Copies are out now and I will begin working on the next (Christmas) issue soon. Exciting stuff!!!
2. I will be having framed photos 5x7 and larger on display and for sale in a popular local restaurant in Middle River, MD. Own a piece of Stormy Eyez Photography! More details to be posted once they are all up and ready ;)
OTHER NEWS: I recently found an AMAZING model to work with. Kristin has an exotic look that I love! She is part Alaskan,Scandinavian and American Indian. This multi-talented girl also knows how to do her own makeup like a pro! She also has a versatile wardrobe and many different looks. We have already had 2 successful shoots and there will be many more to come. I did not find her on MM but through a friend. I hope to find other models who also inspire me to try new things and help me create beautiful photographs.
ALSO, I would love to find old abandoned buildings - whether they be rural or urban, to shoot in. I would like to go with at least one model and take artistic shot of them in these locations. If any local photographers are interested in collaborating on this, please contact me! Also if anyone has info on where would work well, that would be great too! Thanks in advance :)
