I am a photographer in the Annapolis area. Most of my work has been shooting landscapes and still life. Over the last year I have started working more with models and look to expand/define my technique. All shapes, forms and styles of models appeal to me, although, I tend to be drawn to creative or unique looks (i.e. tattoo’s, pin-up, punk, costumes, etc.) and locations. The majority of my sets with models have been personal or private sessions (i.e. costumes, lingerie, implied nudes, nudes, couples, etc.) and this is what I am looking for. I don’t want to shoot glamour shots, weddings or senior portraits.

My goal is to compile a portfolio of diverse and unique looks. I want to ultimately create a collection to write a book. I want to show the duplicity, the dynamics or maybe even hypocrisy of how we are visually perceived by others. I want to capture the “faces” or “facades” that we put on to fit in. Like the conservative school teacher who is a rocker on the weekends. The female executive who wears suits to work but has an amazing tattoo down her back. And the beautiful, size 2 model that enjoys wearing frumpy clothes, a baseball hat and eating chips on the couch. And so on and so on...

Maybe you just want some nice pictures for your portfolio or that special someone who is away.

I am also open to ideas; this is why I am on Model Mayhem.

It will be many years before I am in a position to write a book or develop my eye as a photographer. So I would like to meet and shoot models that are looking to trade time for photo’s/CD.
