My goal in the photography world is to conitue expanding my creativity, and to continue capturing the spirit of those I photograph, as I've often been told I do.

Here's my background in a nutshell: I come from a pretty conservative family and worked for IBM for 11 years. I always found myself searching for more, though, and often said I didn't see myself as a "lifetime IBMer." So, I took a bunch of classes taught by people who were passionate about their work, and was hooked when I took my first professional photography class in December of 2007. In the summer of 2008, I quit my job and devoted myself to photography full time. I invested in more classes, and built up some portfolios, showing everyone who'd care to look.
