I consider myself an advanced hobbyist-- I have been doing fine-art nude photography off and on for the last 20-some-odd years-- I'm doing six or seven shoots a year these days and always looking to do more.

I live in Cumberland, VA (roughly an hour from Richmond or Charlottesville), on a 6-acre plot in the woods. My yard is enormous, and cannot be seen from the road (my driveway is over 1/3 mile). I have several acres of woods, as well, and the western border of my property is a river.

I am seeking models willing to do nude and seminude work in both the studio and outdoors. I am not selective about ethnicity, height, tattoos, weight, or build-- if you are comfortable in your skin, I'll give it a shot. Right now, I am not able to pay models, although I'm good for reasonable travel expenses. Obviously, active professional models are going to pass, but if you're looking to get started, I can tell you that two of my models have started getting paid gigs using the work I did of them as their portfolio. I am also interested in the ideas of the model, and in what the model [u]wants[/u]... you're taking your time to help me get the images I want, I'm more than happy to put some time in on what you need. I've done theatrical headshots, general portraiture ranging from demure to drop-dead-sexy, lingerie, silhouette, pin-up... and if I haven't done it, I'm willing to try it, within limits. Bring some wardrobe that's for you, not me.

If you have a really creative idea, I could be convinced to dedicate a shoot to it. Collaboration is fun, and can produce great results!

I am no drama, and no pressure. Before the shoot, we will discuss exactly what we will be doing, and if you don't agree to it in advance, it doesn't happen. I don't try to renegotiate mid-shoot. You can bring an escort with you, as long as the escort is equally no drama, and doesn't try to direct you or me while we're shooting.

(Eventually I'm going to have a proper site, but for right now, FL lets me host unlimited images, and it satisfies the requirement a lot of non-pro models have about not being directly searchable.)

A few notes:

- I live in a FOREST. This is not a glade, a glen, or a bunch of trees. While my property is not technically part of a state forest, the other side of that river I mentioned IS. This is the wild, where even the paths require some caution, and you'll want to spray down with bug spray for outdoor shoots. I keep plenty on hand.

- Makeup: Generally, for the kind of work I like to do, less is more. If you are talented with it, or want to bring a MUA, we can talk, but it's not a high priority for me. Some of the fantasy themes might require some theatrical makeup, but I can take care of that.

- Usage: I do this for its own sake-- I enjoy the art of it. Any photos I take may get added to my online portfolio-- either the one on FL, or when I build build one later, my own website. No photos will get used in any way without the model's permission. I'm game for commercial opportunities and contest submissions if you are, but not really my goal.
