About me
Hi folks! I'm Sunny, the creator of Bolshevik Designs. You are probablly wondering *why* I would choose to call my company/clothing line "Bolshevik", since the word is often viewed in a negative way. To me, the word bolshevik brings to mind a "revolution for the people". This is what I belive fashion should be: new, revolutionary, bringing about a postive change for people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, etc. So by calling my company "Bloshevik", I feel I have created a name that is its own mission statement. A fashion revolution, doesn't that sound *divine*? :)
I have been working in the fashion industry for almost ten years. I am both a wardrobe stylist and clothing designer ( I also create jewelry on the side). I have worked all over the United States, including the San Fransisco Bay Area and Denver, CO. I am currently working in and around the Buffalo, NY region.
I also work as a personal stylist!
I live and breathe fashion, and I take *great pride* in the work that I do!! I have a very unique design and style aesthetic, and my work is best described as eclectic. I love to mix up and play with various cultures, genres, prints, fabrics, etc. to create something beautiful and inspiring. Some of my favorite looks/styles include; vintage clothing, BoHo, oriental-hindi, steampunk, and Gothic Lolita,, just to name a few. As a stylist, my goal is to ensure that your creative vision and personality shine through in a stunning way, and will always keep your own input and ideas in mind, to create a friendly working environment.
I am very open and reasonable with my rates, and am accepting paid work...I am only accepting limited TF*, so message me and we will negotiate in a way that will make us both happy!! As I said, I am very flexible where rates are concerned, and will try to work in a way that will be agreeable to you!! I will travel as long as I am given reasonable notice, and if expenses are covered.
