I started working with make-up with I used to sell Mary-Kay cosmetics over eight years ago. Because of the nature of that work I was constantly doing other peoples make-up, and I have been through dozens of classes and seminars on the subject.
I was also trained even more in depth as an MUA when I began working in the theatre, and there I learned a lot about dramatic and stage effects, which I've learned to adapt for the camera. I worked in both the community theatre and college theatre levels.
Lately I've also been working with more artistic styles of make-up, including face paints (doing different designs, geisha styles, etc) and I would like to get more work in body painting. I'm still learning some techniques in the artistic side, but I'm always eager to get a new face and come up with something new and interesting to get that perfect look.
